About me

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Cognitive Studies (DEC) at Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris. I am working on the project Between Language and Reasoning led by Salvador Mascarenhas.

Before that I was a postdoctoral researcher of the project "ObTrEx- Obligatory Triggers -- Experimental Evidence" which is part of the Priority Programme xprag.de. After I finished my thesis on the obligatory insertion of presuppositions triggers in 2016, I further investigated the obligatory insertion of additive particles, especially in downward-entailing environments, and its relation to (local) exhaustification. Furthermore, I am exploring the question which contexts allow for so-called mention-some answers to questions. I am also part of the group "Xprag - Dojo", where I am the leader of a project investigating the meaning of Japanese particles "wa" and "ga" compared to German contrastive topic/focus constructions.
